Trial Work Experiences allow individuals to explore their interests and capabilities in realistic, hands-on work situations. This service is designed to help determine if vocational rehabilitation can successfully lead to an employment outcome, particularly for individuals with severe disabilities.
During a TWE, participants are placed in actual work environments where we can observe their strengths, endurance, and time management skills. We also evaluate important factors like communication skills, the need for special accommodations, and how to best support the individual's unique needs.
By the end of the experience, we provide a detailed report outlining the participant's readiness for work and recommendations for their next steps. This ensures that every individual gets a fair, thorough opportunity to demonstrate their potential in the workplace.
-
Vocational Evaluation Services help us discover an individual's ideal career path and determine the specific support they need to reach their goals. Through diagnostic interviews and specialized testing, we assess a person's aptitudes, interests, and transferrable skills.
We offer a variety of hands-on evaluation methods, including job shadowing to observe real jobs, work readiness assessments to evaluate workplace habits, and job sampling to try out specific tasks. Our team can also conduct assessments directly at community work sites to identify strengths and support needs in a real-world context.
Ultimately, these evaluations provide a clear roadmap for further training, ensuring our clients are matched with the right opportunities in their local job market.

Vocational Adjustment Training is designed to help individuals develop the foundational skills and work habits needed to succeed in a professional environment. Rather than teaching specific trade skills, this program focuses on the essential "soft skills" and physical capacities required for any job.
Participants learn crucial workplace behaviors, such as attendance, punctuality, appropriate grooming, and effective communication with coworkers. We also work on building physical stamina, improving money management, and mastering job-seeking techniques.
Through a customized training plan, our staff works step-by-step with the client to achieve measurable behavioral goals. This organized approach ensures individuals feel confident, prepared, and fully oriented to the expectations of the working world.

Our Job Readiness, Development, and Placement services provide direct, hands-on support to help clients successfully find and keep a job.
We begin by teaching essential job search skills, including how to write a standout resume, complete applications, and confidently handle interviews. Once a client is ready, we actively develop job leads by analyzing local economic trends and contacting employers directly on their behalf. We assist with everything from negotiating workplace accommodations to navigating the hiring process.
Our support doesn't stop once a job is offered; we continue to work with the individual to ensure a smooth transition and satisfactory adjustment to their new role. The ultimate goal is to help our clients achieve at least 90 days of stable, competitive employment in a setting that matches their strengths and interests.
-
Job Coaching provides personalized, on-site support to ensure our clients thrive in their new workplace.
A dedicated job coach works side-by-side with the employee to help them learn specific job duties, meet the employer's production standards, and understand the company culture. We also focus on developing positive relationships with coworkers and supervisors, stepping in to resolve any difficulties that may arise.
Our coaches use the most effective and least intrusive teaching methods, empowering the individual to become increasingly independent over time. As the client gains confidence and natural workplace supports are established, our job coaching services are gradually reduced.
We also provide disability awareness information to the employer, fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment for everyone.
-
Supported Employment Services are tailored for individuals with the most significant disabilities who require intensive, ongoing support to maintain competitive integrated employment.
We start by consulting with the individual to understand their unique abilities and interests, ensuring we find a job that pays a competitive wage and promotes social integration. Once a job is secured, we provide comprehensive on-site job coaching and stabilization services for up to 24 months.
Our team helps individuals master their tasks, build relationships with coworkers, and manage their earnings while navigating social security benefits.
When the individual reaches a stable level of performance, we help transition them to "extended services" for long-term support. This ensures that both the employee and the employer have the continuous backing they need for long-term success.

Customized Employment is a highly personalized approach that matches an individual’s unique strengths and interests with the specific, unmet needs of an employer. Rather than fitting a person into a pre-existing job description, we use flexible strategies like job carving, task reassignment, or job sharing to create a position that works for everyone.
The process begins with "Discovery," where we spend time understanding the individual's hobbies, routines, and capabilities in their everyday life. We then facilitate a planning meeting with the individual's support network to create a blueprint for their career path. Next, we tour local businesses to identify tasks that incumbent workers need help with, negotiating directly with employers to create a mutually beneficial role.
This innovative service ensures a perfect job match where the employee’s contributions are valued, and the business runs more efficiently.

Individual Placement and Support (IPS) is an evidence-based employment service specifically designed to help individuals with behavioral health conditions secure and maintain competitive jobs. The core philosophy of IPS is that anyone who wants to work can work, so we do not exclude individuals based on diagnoses, symptoms, or readiness assessments.
We use a rapid job search approach to help clients find work quickly, bypassing lengthy pre-employment training in favor of real-world experience. Our employment specialists work closely and collaboratively with the client's mental health treatment team to ensure their employment goals and wellness strategies are fully integrated. We also provide personalized benefits counseling to help clients understand how working will impact their government entitlements.
Best of all, job supports in the IPS program are time-unlimited, meaning we are there to provide individualized assistance for as long as the worker wants and needs it.
